In addition to over a decade of providing pet and house sitting services for business and leisure travelers through Abbey’s, three year-old spin-off Midday Mutts™ offers workday service designed to help with latchkey pet needs of any kind, and Whisker Washers™ provides the convenience of pet grooming at your doorstep.

Working with Abbey’s and Midday Mutts™, 3 office staffers and 30 pet care providers currently service Tarrant County pets spread across Fort Worth, Arlington, Keller, Southlake, Colleyville and North Richland Hills. Whisker Washers™ operates with 5 fully equipped mobile grooming salons, several experienced grooming professionals and an office manager.

Owners Kelly and Mary Claire Sullivan share a love of pets and a commitment to the health and welfare of animals. Their family includes three traditional two-legged children and a menagerie of the four-legged variety. Kelly is a Fort Worth convert, while Mary Claire is a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Texas Christian University. Together, they are dedicated to providing outstanding, personalized service to pet owners. With over a decade in business and well over 100,000 in-home pet care visits, they have become very familiar with the needs and desires of area pet owners and are uniquely situated to meet that demand.

Abbey’s Pet and House Sitting™/Midday Mutts™ were honored as a finalist in the 2006 PlainsCapital Family Business Awards™ and are gold members of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. They are past sponsors of the Pooch and Pals Promenade, promoters of “Take Your Dog To Work” day sponsored by Pet Sitters International (PSI) and Fort Worth Zoo Annual Fund donors. They were also fundraisers and opening day sponsors for Fort Worth’s award-winning dog park, Fort Woof, as well as participants in Barktoberfest, Arlington’s Petpalooza and numerous other pet and community related events.
